Glen joined RealNetworks whilst still living in the US. He moved to London to become Director, International Video Services for EMEA. During this time he bolstered Reals' streaming video-on-demand subscription offering 'SuperPass' through the licensing and aggregation of branded content such as UEFA Champions League, and the multi-lingual news channel, EuroNews. He was instrumental in developing the consumer product into a premium news and sports content proposition realising considerable reduction in subscriber churn.

Prior to joining RealNetworks in Europe Glen had already developed a significant pedigree in the US video-on-demand space. As VP, Product Development for POPcast
Communications, he
managed all product development from conceptualization of the commercial proposition and product specification through market launch of POPcast’s suite of consumer (VOD)
video-on-demand products and B-to-B 'white label' Enterprise
platforms.
During
his tenure with POPcast, Glen supervised all commercial
initiatives and maintained business development ownership of all (ASP) Application Service Provider accounts.
He was also responsible for managing account relationships
and Professional Services contracts, including British
Telecom's OpenWorld, JVC
America, Roxio,
Cisco Italy/Fastweb, and was the interface with the Microsoft MovieMaker,
and Windows
Media Groups.

Mr. Glen has also held
management positions at America
Online's Digital City (now called City Guide) where, in his capacity as
Product Manager, he was responsible for supporting
AOL's Web Properties Group and Interactive Marketing’s new business development initiatives. He managed the expansion of AOL's 'Digital City' to 52 Metropolitan editions and was instrumental in the introduction of centralised editorial publishing network-wide.
At Yahoo
Music's LAUNCH Inc. Glen spearheaded the entire eighteen-month
project from concept through to market deployment. He retained third-party engineering resources and developed the original site architecture incorporating the M.I.T. designed Firefly
collaborative filtering engine. Launch was one of the first consumer-facing music website to incorporate what are now referred to as social networking features; fan communities; user-generated reviews; and cutting edge personalization and recommendations technology.

Prior to joining
LAUNCH,
Mr. Glen was in-house producer at RGA/LA
were his duties included account management, professional services
and production for interactive game development and motion-picture
visual effects production. RGA/LA's client portfolio included Fortune 500 corporations and major agencies such as Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco. He performed the role of senior interactive account manager for clients such as Levi Strauss & Company and their first major web campaign for the Dockers brand.
Before leaving his home country of England,
Mr. Glen held prominent positions at various television and film post-production companies such as London Weekend Television and Molinare, and was a freelance Production Manager at Propaganda
Films and MTV
Europe.
