Ralph Morris, seen here third from the right, began session recording with "Eden" during the early months of 1984. He had previously been the songwriting talent behind London based combo, "Kitchens of Distinction." His style, (after Kempton-Campbell's new wave assertions) proved to be yet another departure for the band. Drawing on some long standing blues influences - executed authentically with an original 1960 "Les Paul" guitar - Ralph added a distinct tone of maturity to the blossoming Eden sound. Morris also contributed saxophone, at this time, during some limited live appearences with the group.
Shortly after this, Dez was joined by younger sibling, Qwaffe, (first from the right) and the line-up began to solidify into the long standing format that became "East of Eden." |
